3 Year Old Toys for DD Birthday?

My daughter turns 3 in a couple weeks and I'm working on gift ideas for her. Any suggestions what your kids loved at this age? She's not particularly into any ONE thing (like princesses, Thomas, Dora, etc.). I'm thinking jigsaw puzzles, maybe reusable sticker book.

Depending on the weather in your area right now, outdoor toys are always a good idea around this time of year. Bubbles, small pool, jump ropes, gardening tools (kids, plastic), etc. As far as indoor gifts my daughter loves her dry erase board, doing art(using her toddler sissors), cash register, chap stick, etc. Good luck! Hope she has a great birthday.

My girls were big on pretend play at that age - things like play food and toy dishes were a big favorite. For outdoors, scooter, hopper ball (don't know what its real name is - the bouncy ball thing with a handle that kids sit on and bounce on), tot-size basketball hoop

At this age they start to really get into pretend play. My 3 year old son loves puzzles (which surprised me, but its a good thing to do together). You could even get dress up clothes at Toys R Us.

I noticed when my daughter turned 3 she became very interested in imaginary play as well as gross motor activities. Wooden blocks and waffle blocks, tinker toys, a doll house, a play garage, a train set and some dress up clothes are particuarly popular right now. She also loves her tricycle, scooter, little tykes bounce house, and a balance beam my husband built for her. Games are also a big hit..... she loves Cooties, Sky High Scoops, Go Fish, Hungry Hippos and Elefun. Hope this helps and I hope your DD has a wonder 3rd birthday! :-)

Melissa and Doug toys have a Pound and Roll Tower that has been a hit with 3yr olds in my gift giving history.
