A Doctor for My Husband and I

Our health insurance recently changed and the doctor we really like does not accept our the new insurance. We could go out of network and still see him, but we would have to pay out of pocket, and it just gets to be a hassle when it comes to Rx and such.

Can anyone suggest a doctor in the Round Rock/Cedar Park area they are comfortable with and takes Blue Cross Blue Shield?

Thank you,
Michelle

Are you looking for just a regular family doctor? Since the only doctors i have seen over the last three years are my ob/gyn and fertility specialist I will have to recommend my husbands M.D.:-)
His name is Dr.Diaz. He is located off of 620 and Great Oaks. The address is 15930 Great Oaks. Phone is ###-###-####. My husband likes him, plus two of my neighbors go to him as well. I just don't know if he takes your insurance or not. It's worth a call though.
Good luck!
Brandi

Hi: We have BC/BS as well. And, I know how hard it is to find a doc who accepts it. I don't know if you are PPO or HMO, but we are PPO and we go to Austin Diagnostic Clinic. I prefer the one at NAMC and DF goes to the one on Far West. But, there is also one in Round Rock (I can't remember the name of the street. It's just north of 79 by Stony Point 9th Grade Center). I really like my doctor and ADC in general! I can give you the name of my Dr. if you'd like but I know you are looking in the RR area and just wanted to let you know I'm pretty happy with ADC in general. Good Luck!

My husband and I also have BCBS and we use ARC. We actually use the one in North Austin b/c we really like the dr.s there. Dunno if you have to change your kids dr.s as well but the ARC (pediatrician) in Round Rock is outstanding.

I don't have blue cross blue shield, but have found that you can't go wrong with Austin Regional Clinic. They have offices everywhere and I believe they are opening a new office in Cedar Park. They also have a large office in RR. You can go to the website for more info. www.austinregionalclinic.com

I too have BCBS. I moved to Hutto six years ago from Clear Lake and had an aweful time finding a doctor I liked. Eventually, I ended up at ARC in Round Rock and settled on Dr. Julie Hardy. Although I've only seen her a handful of times, I really like her. My husband prefers Dr. Bryan Irvin. He's at ARC as well. He seems very thorough.
