Anyone Tried JuicePlus?

My friend raves about this stuff boosting her immune system etc. It looks expensive. But if it works it would be worth it. My son has a limited variety of foods he'll eat. He has Asperger's Autism and he's very picky about food. He swallows pill just fine.

Is it worth it?

My friend became a rep for Juice Plus so now I give my daughter the gummies and I take the capsules. We still try to eat well too, we consider it extra. It's condensed fruit and veggies. You can ask her questions at ____@____.com.

Hi T.,
I haven't tried JuicePlus, I'm sure it's much better than not taking anything. However it only had a few juices in it from different vegetables. I didn't feel that it covered my son's nutritional needs (since he eats nothing green what-so-ever).

I've since found a product called "The Feast" a live whole food based juice powder that contains 176 synergistic natural and many certified organic ingredients;
- 30 Power Greens & Vegetables,
- 30 Antioxidant Rich Fruits & Berries,
- 11 Nutrient Dense Seeds, Nuts & Sprouts,
- 83 Active Enzymes & Fulvic Mineral Blend,
- 22 Resilient Living Probiotics.
(Naturally sweetened by the plant Stevia).

I haven't found any other products with the variety and quality of living ingredients in "The Feast". Plus, they use a patented, low heat, drying process that leaves the nutrients intact as nature intended. It's the next best thing to eating actual organic veggies & fruits.

I would be happy to send you a free sample of "The Feast" so you can try it out - It is life style friendly, convenient and tastes great (Both my boys, ages 5 and 3 love drinking it, since it tastes like regular juice). It only takes a couple seconds to throw a scoop in with water or in with their favorite juice and mix it up.

It costs about $35/mo or just over $1 per serving if you're a member (I'm a member because it was only $9.95 to join and you get a 20% discount on the products). Otherwise it's $43.95 for a 30 day's supply.

If you'd like to try it, please e-mail me back with your contact info or to learn more visit:

www.URILife.net/NutritionForLife

FYI - we started taking it mid Dec. after a series of family illnesses (I had bronchitis for a month and didn't seem to get better until taking this). My kids both go to Montessori pre-school & I run their after-school-care program so we're around lots of germs!

My 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son have taken JP ever since I can remember. We used to take it out of the capsule and put the powder on a spoon. To this day both of my kids actually eat the capsules. My mom works for a health food store and she is all about the JP for the kids. It definitely cannot hurt them...fruits and veggies...God created all those for us to eat and live life to the fullest...we have just added so much other pestiside, etc that doesn't make our foods as valuable. Neither of my kids have been sick with ear infections, sniffles or anything since I can remember. I believe it can only help build their immune systems. They also take Vit c and fish oils. I would highly suggest it. Remember when buying any sort of vitamins to check out to make sure they are not "synthetic".

Hi T.,
My mother is a distributer for Juice Plus so I know all about it. I'm not very good at taking pills every day but I was very good with taking it while I was pregnant. I didn't notice a different immediately, but I did feel better a few months into it. And my daughter is super super healthy, very rarely ever gets sick. My mother says she's a "juice plus baby". I'm still taking it now and really believe in it. There is a great program you may want to ask who you buy it from for children. They can get their juice plus gummies for free in a study they are doing. A friend of mine is using it and their little boy loves them. And the gummies are sugar free so you don't have to worry about increased cavities. I think you aren't supposed to start the gummies until your little one is 2 yrs old. My daughter is 19 months and we for sure are going to give it to her when she's a little older. Good luck.

I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but my son has taken the Juice Plus Gummies for about three and a half years and I am not kidding or exaggerating when I say he has not had as much as a sniffle in almost three years.

Definitely worth looking into!

Hello T.,

I LOVE juice plus! (I also sell it :-)for cost) But I found out about the product years ago. I was taking a arobics class when I asked the instructor afterwards what lotion she used on her skin. She looked great! She giggled and told me that it was some over the counter cheap stuff, but it was the Juice Plus that she was taking. (She looked 25 and was actually 40) She found the product for her hubby that had high blood pressure. His high blood pressure and other issues quickly went away. She then took the product for herself and her son. Her skin started looking great, and she had more energy then ever. Her son, who is a diabetic started having reverse health issues. His eye sight got stronger and he was all around healthier as well. Myself, my husband, my Mom, my Mother in-law (who survived lung and adrinal gland cancer) all take the product. I'm not saying its a cure all fix all, but I do with all my heart think it has contributed to my families health and well being. Let me know if you want my personal e-mail or if there is any other questions you may have. Oh one other thing, my personal lab results from my annual health exam were off the charts. My dr. laughed as said my cholestrol was so low that the comupter kicked me into (problem zone) just cause it did not know what to do with the number. He said "it must be that Juice Plus" your taking :-) Good luck and God Bless

My daughter started taking the JP gummies when it was recommended by our pediatrician around 18 months. She is now almost 6 and has only been on antibiotics once in her whole life for an ear infection. I can't remember the last time she has been sick. I'm not saying it's only the Juice Plus, but I think it definately boosts her immune system. My husband and I have been on the capsules for a couple years, too. After doing lots of research on the product, I decided to become a distributor. It just makes sense to me.

My 4 1/2 year old son has autism. He also is EXTREMELY picky with food-texture issues. He used to get croup ALOT until we started Juice Plus. He takes one capsule each of the fruit and the vegetable. We open the capsule and mix it into applesauce or yogurt and he doesn't even know it's there. We tried the gummies, but he couldn't handle the texture. We pay $39.95 a month for a 3 month supply of each, but it lasts about 5 months. He rarely has colds now and croup only once a year and it's pretty mild. He is also on the gluten and casein free diet and Juice Plus has worked well with that.

Good Luck

We have a lot of allergies so when I take something I want to know exactly what is in it. I called them, read all the literature, etc. NO ONE would / could tell me what was in it. I even explained why I wanted to know - no matter - no information. I checked at several health food stores and it seems like they all carry something similar that is a lot less expensive. You might check around a little and see what else is out there. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have used JP with both of my children, myself, and my husband. My youngest is allergic to it, so if you try it and see skin abnormalities like a rash, discontinue it. I know alot of people who take it, and about half swear by it and about half don't and then stop taking it. I'm in the half that don't swear by it. (someone at our church is a distributor and gets alot of families on it.) There are several brands at health food stores that are similar and alot less expensive. What we are on now is called Berry Green and I get it at Whole Foods. According to my pediatrician and my personal nutritionist, what you want to look for is a multi-vitamin made from whole foods (not the store name, but whole food sources!) My pediatrician likes JP, but agrees that others are out there that are just as good. I do have one friend who is in her mid 50's who has some type of liver disease. She was on JP and her doctor demanded that she stop taking it after he had JP tested and told her that JP has a very high percentage of carrots in it, and that it is not good for her liver health. He changed her to another brand of whole food multivitamin that has no carrots in it. Maybe an odd antidote, by there it is for whatever it is worth. The one thing that I really didn't like about JP is that I could never find any label on the bottle, in the literature, online, etc. that tells me exactly what is in the pills. My nutritionist also said that she liked the idea of JP (all your daily fruit and veggie vitamins for the day), but could not get enough information to vouch for the quality of it.

Rather than just listening to testimonies, I would look at the research. Juice Plus has the Gold Standard in research that no ohter company can compare with. They have published thirteen randomized, placebo contolled, double-blind and peer reviewed studies with thirteen more in the works with major institutions.. See results at:www.jpleanne.com. These prove that what is listed on the bottle is actually in the product and that 100% of this is getting into the blood. Most multi-vitamins just pass thru and don't get absorbed. The benefits have proven to be repaired DNA, improved antioxident levels, lowered homocystene( which causes heart and vessel damage) and more. Juice Plus has the phytonutrients of 24 raw, pesticide free and fully vine ripened fruits, vegetables, berries and grains. It is whole food.
I read where one person had a bad experience with their distributor. I assure you that everything from Juice Plus is 100% money back guaranteed thru your distributor or a phone call to the company. In over five years, I have never had a bad experience with NSA(the owners).I have found the company to have complete integrity. I also find the cost and convenience of Juice Plus superior to buying and preparing organic produce. My family has incredible testimonies too but I stick to the science.Hope this helps.

Hi T.,

I tried Juice Plus about 5 years ago and it did not work for me or my daughter. Both of us still had issues with getting sick. I also tried it with my Grandson and my daughter claims it didn't help him. I'm not sure about that one. I know he didn't like the taste so she didn't force the issue. I had so much Juice Plus laying around and no one would take it back. I ended up losing money and I was not impressed with the company that didn't want to stand by their product. I ended up throwing it away. So it became very expensive for us. My daughter and I do eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, so that may be why it didn't work for us like it should have. I don't know. My massage therapist said it didnt' work for her either, but it seems to be working on her 14 year old son.

YES!!!! It is wonderful!!! I was able to get my little girls chewables free every month by buying mine. Mine was 43.00/ month for both mine and my daughters. My daughter is a very picky eater and she has started eating 4 different meats in the last 6 months since being on juiceplus. Our doctor also recommended it for her.
