Baby Seat/Swing Help & Recommendations

I would like to buy a new baby seat/swing that has music or some other nice features. I looked at Burlington and was overwhelmed by the options and price ranges ($35 -$200ish). Can anybody recommend a great one that is reasonably priced? It needs to be stable and not easily knocked over to prevent my 2 year old from tipping it and foldable would be terrific. It doesn't need to have lots of fancy options - just basic motion and perhaps sound/toys to capture baby's attention.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I highly recommend the Fisher Price Take-a-long swings. They are low to the ground (less of a chance of your 2yr old knocking it over) and portable. When my daughter was little that was a life saver- if we had to go over to someone's house you could easily bring that with you. It made travelling and simply going over to a friends house ALOT nicer and more convenient. I just typed it in and here's a list of places/prices for it. http://shopping.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=ArIrvO18GYcwaOGJPIS...

I found a rainforest swing on Craigslist for 35 bucks and it was the best money spent to date!! It has a plug so you dont have to keep replacing batteries and it goes side to side or back and forth...it plays music and has a mobile. I cant say enough good things about this swing!! Good luck!!

We have the Fisher Price Little Lamb swing and my daughter LOVES it! It swings in 3 different directions (while you said you are looking for fancy, it's nice if the sun is in her face and you don't have to move the whole swing). It also has a mobile and plays different nature sounds as well as music. She could swing in that baby all day! It's soft and cozy, too. :)

I personally love the new baby swings that they have right now, the cradle swing. My baby loves it and the great thing about it is that it swings three different ways. It's great to use the side-to-side to motion when they're newborn because they don't get scared or the motion isn't too much for their tummys you know, like a roller coaster. I noticed that when they are smaller they can't handle the forward-backward motion. Then it can swing like a normal swing for when they get a little bigger. It is also very sturdy. It will not knock over easily. Good luck finding a swing.
