I searched and it seems like umbrella stroller answers are over a year old or older. I know there is a lot of new strollers out there. I am looking for an umbrella stroller that reclines to take on vacation for our baby. He will be 7 months old when we travel so 5 point harness would be best. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

What can I do next?

City Mini by baby jogger. Its not technically an "umbrella stroller" but its everything one should be. Its light weight, one hand fold, reclines to lay flat, has a huge sun canopy and is great quality. It is not a jogging stroller, just made by baby jogger, so don't be confused. But I used to work at a Baby store and also have a 3yr old. I have a Maclaren, but wish I would have gotten the City Mini instead. Check it out and see it in person if you can, you WONT be disappointed.

Chicco Liteway. We have owned 4 strollers in 3 years and this is the best stroller yet. It's padded and reclines. There is a cup holder for us and still decent storage under the stroller. We bought this for our summer vacation for our 10 month old and she took several long snoozes in it while we were out and about. We're headed to Disney in 2 weeks and I'm considering buying another one for my 3 year old. They cost about $149 but go to Babies R US or Buy Buy Baby and use a 20% off coupon. Totally worth the money. Happy Hunting!

Depends if you want cheap for air travel when it is thrown in and out of cargo holds. I had a Jeep umbrella stroller which lasted for ages, no bells and whistles, just side saddle bags to hold things. That gave out after 5 years, now I have The First Years umbrella stroller, it goes to 50lbs. I don't like it as much but it has 5 pt harness, small basket below, and saddle bag for drinks and zippered pouch up by the handle area - I do find it tips up more, if you put extra weight on it, such as hanging a bag from the handles. I also have a Chicco liteway - it's not as small but has better wheels. I wouldn't recommend either overwhelmingly. Don't forget to buy one of those bright red cheap check-in bags to protect your stroller if you travel by air - it's amazing how dirty and beat up they get! Good luck on your purchase.

Citi Mini is the best. To close, you pick it up in the middle, and it closes with one hand. It opens with one hand. It is also the lightest of the strollers--even the double! It is also very easy to maneuver.

We have a Maclaren Quest. We have had it for 3 years and absolutely love it, we are using it now with our second baby. I know they can be expensive, we bought ours on clearance because the color was being discontinued or something like that.

I like my Chicco that I got at BRU. It was $139 I think. It's a newer one and solid black. It has a good recline, good basket, easy to close and a cup holder. Great for the price.
