Chest Pains/caffeine Related?

I have acid reflux and take pills for that daily. I have been drinking a lot of coffee lately and noticing some chest pain on my right side. An increase in coffee and the Advair inhaler are the only two different things I've been doing differently. I do feel a sinus infection coming on also. I get these a lot with my allergies and asthma. The only other pain is my head here and there. Thought maybe it was that but I haven't felt congested since I used the inhaler this afternoon. I stopped drinking the coffee around noon and it still hurts bad. Anyone relate to this?

What can I do next?

GO SEE A DOCTOR ASAP! My aunt had 2 heart attacks back in February. With the first one she left a volunteer job early because she wasn't feeling well and thought she had a stomach virus. She went home and googled her symptoms and from the results thought she might be having a heat attack. She was right! She had the 2nd and a suspected 3rd while she was in the hospital. Heart attack symptoms in women are NOT the same as they are in men. Many women who die from heart attacks are found to have lots of antacids in their stomachs because they thought it was just heartburn/reflux. SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, maybe... the increase in coffee could be making your body need more antacid (since its acidic) and therefore a little bit of acid reflux pain but translated into chest pains.. My husband gets chest pains when he forgets..

Chest pain isn't anything to mess around with. How old are you? Have you done any strenuous exercise lately? I have a cousin who wasn't overweight and she had a full heart attack at the age of 48. Women's symptoms are different than men and I would have it checked if I were you. If you have kids, do it for them.
The only chest pain I had was related to exercise. I was doing chest presses at the health club and I had muscle soreness which could have been mistaken for heart pain.

Caffeine and the inhaler will both increase your heart rate and could cause some residual heart palpitations. I'd talk to the pharmacist about the possibility of not drinking coffee for a couple of hours after using the inhaler but it might not make much difference in the time line.
