Chicken Pox - Petaluma, CA

I am one of those rare freaks that has never been immunized for the chickenpox and has had it multiple times. I have had the chickenpox 7 times, no it did not every become the shingles. Yes, you can get a very mild case of the chickenpox that doesn't itch much, but they will blister. However, this sounds more like a mild allergic reaction, you might try a small dose of benadryl or maybe some calendula lotion/oil (calendula is marigold and it has wonderful healing properties, it was recommend for a post birth lacerations and cracked nipples, by my midwives).

There is a simple blood test you can get to see if you have an active case of the chicken pox. My husband's doctor was sending him in to get a different blood test, and they accidentally ran this test instead. If you are concerned, or really want to know, this would tell you for sure, one way or the other. (If you would like, I could look up the exact name of the blood test so you could talk to your pediatrician about it.) Let me know.
Both my kids have gotten rashes that were unexplainable. As long as your daughter is acting ok, and does not have a fever, I would not think it is anything serious. :)

My son (9 months) had German Measles which never blistered and eventually went away. They only stayed in the neck/lower back area and maybe a tad on the leg. I wouldn't think it could be that since they are immunized. I would lean towards an allergy and maybe track what she eats. I would start treating as if an allergy. It's good for her that she's not itching, but hard when we want answers. If you have find an answer let us know. Blessings to you and your 4 year old!

I haven't ever seen a case of chicken pox that didn't blister. I'm not a doctor, but both my children had the chicken pox and I've looked at and help lots of parents determine if their children have it. That is one of the things that make it chicken pox.
Could it be a reaction to a detergent or a food reaction? I'm not sure they would still be present after 10 days.
I'd get another opinion possibly from a skin doctor.

Could be pitoriosis. Often that rash does not itch.
