My daughter is 4 1/2 and this is her second year in Concordias preschool program. We really love it. Our daughter was very shy and reserved her first year and the teachers there are wonderful and very comforting. This year she has changed into a completely different spirit and I really believe much of it comes from Concordia and the experience they gave our daughter. I am a stay at home mom and our daughter never went to daycare so our hope was to bring her out of her shell with preschool and it worked. I personally highly recommend the program!

Are you talking about the one on Byron close to Damen? I go to a play group in that area and will ask other mom's when I see them on Friday. I'll get back to you on that.

Hi M.,

I don't have any experience with Concordia Child Care Center, but have been considering it myself for my daughter in a year or two. My 2 year old currently goes to Forest Park Montessori. She's been there about a month and really loves it. I'm always trying to keep my options open, though, so I am interested in checking out Concordia. Would you mind passing on any info you might get from your posting. If you have any interest in FPM, I would be happy to share. They are very reasonably priced and I think they have openings...

M., I have only heard wonderful things about Concordia. My children's preschool teacher(different school) is a grad and recent teacher at the childcare center. We are so pleased and our children are thrilled with school because of her. I even heard about CCC from a doctor at the immediate care office whose children were enrolled at Concordia CC. The only neg, the price. If that isn't an issue, I say get on the waiting list. It is a good and safe learning enviroment for children.

Concordia in River Forest is a really good program. One of my best friends teaches the 3 and 4 year olds and she is excellent. I couldn't recommend her more. She is almost finished with her masters degree and is really dedicatd to early childhood education. I know there is a long waiting list, so I would get my name in quick.

I do not have first hand experience here but I was referred to Concordia by someone who works at the Fussy Baby Network/Erickson Institute. I did call and there was a long wait list, at least for infants. I would assume it was good with this wait list and from the person who gave me this referral. Good Lcuk.
