we use Huggies Overnights for bedtime & we love them. however, my son is getting too big for the size 5's. i have looked everywhere & can't find them in a size 6. does anyone know if huggies overnights even come in a size 6?
if not, what do you all use? my son is only 23 months, and we're nowhere near toilet training so this is a regular diaper situation. can i use goodnights? are they as absorbent as diapers?

please help!! :-)

What can I do next?

It might be alittle late for a response, but my son is a big boy and i use to use goodnites w/ little boy underwear over them to prevent gapping in the legs. These goodnites go up higher on the belly so my son wouldn't pee out. I also monitored his drinking b4 bed but we were also having him try to go potty b4 bed also, just to start. Also I just saw at giant eagle that they have block 7 diapers, i never tried them, never had to b/c they didn't have those when my son was older, but you may want to try them out and let us all know how they work.. lol good luck!!

Goodnites are great--but before you spend the extra money, just try the pull-ups for boys. They work well for the younger ones and it might make him want to start toilet training.

Use Huggies Good Nites. The small size goes up to a weight limit of like 54 lbs. They have different versions for boys & girls and they are way more absorbent than the Pull Up overnight's. However, I have found that the Kroger store brand overnights are the exact same, only difference is they don't have any marketed licensed characters printed on them and they are $2-3 cheaper. If you're not ready to take the big step to generic overnights, by all means continue to purchase the Good Nites.

Hi L.,

I am a former art teacher too now stay at home Mom so I wanted to say HI. You taught kids in juvie? WOW!

I wanted to reccomend the Pampers cruisers in size 6. I wish I would have never used pull-ups and I would not suggest using them in your situaton. They are overpriced and often leaK. when you are ready to train I suggest not using them at all because they cause a delay in my opinion. You can get plastic pants for over training h pants that you can wash and they help keep leaks in.

Hi L.. We ran into the same problem with our son. Huggies does not make them, as I could not find them anywhere. We use the Pull-ups overnights and they work great! We started using these just before we started potty training and never had any problems as far as leakage goes!
Goodnights are for bigger kids, I think over 4o pounds.
Hope this advice helps!

Hi L.!

My son is almost 22 months and moving into a size 6 diaper for during the day. I use Pampers Baby Dry during the day. He looked through Huggies regular diapers all the time. However, at night I use Huggies Pull Ups Night Time training pants, and have been for several months. They come in two sizes: 2t-3t, 3t-4t. The sides to come apart for easy changing. They fit my son nicely.

Lots of diapers have size 6, that's what we use, just not necessarily the Huggies Over night. What does your son weigh? My son is almost 28 months and weighs about 35lbs and does just fine in a size 6 of Pampers Baby Dry or Luvs for over night (also what he wears all day). I also don't give him a ton to drink before bed and make sure to change him right before putting him to bed.

You may want to try 1800diapers.com. I'm not sure if they Huggies in larger sizes, but I was able to find Pampers Pull ups for my daughter in a size six...I can never find them in the store.

Hi L.!

We used Goodnights on our girls at night time until they were 4 years old! Just b/c they're potty trained during the day, doesn't always mean they are at night. Also, my girls had to have their milk/water at bedtime ... so that defeated the whole "staying dry through the night" plan. LOL Anyway, go ahead and use those Goodnights!

My daughter uses the Huggies Overnights and is in the size 5 too. I think that is the highest they go. I think the next step is the Goodnights as you mentioned which I hope are as absorbent as the Overnights! Wish I could tell you if they were as absorbent as I will be going to those pretty soon! We are trying to be potty trained but we are just starting out. Good luck!
