I need advice on getting a great double jogging stroller. I don't want to spend $600, I'm hoping more like $300-400. I look on craigslist all the time. Wondering if anyone has the tike tech city X3 double jogging stroller? If so, can you let me know how you like it.from my research it looks like the features are great and the price is $400. I like the dual shade. I can see my 2.5 yr old wanting her shade back, but I will want the baby covered, it has shocks and a swivel wheel, which are a must for me, please help if you can

thanks!!

I do not have one but my friend has a BOB and loves it. Be careful though most jogging strollers can only be used for 6 months and up. Good luck!

B.O.B Evolution - I've logged at least a hundred miles and have a total of 80 pounds (2-1/2 year old + 5 -1/2 year old) now. Can get attachments for baby seat. To get a better price, call The Right Start and find out when the new models come out. I bought last year's model and saved at least a hundred dollars.

My friend has the mini city, but they just had a recall of one of the parts. I forget exactly what it was, but I did call my friend to give her the heads up.

We did a LOT of research....hubby always does before a big purchase. We read a lot of reviews (and he asked people in person when we saw them with the stroller) and finally decided to buy the B.O.B. double jogging stroller. So many people said they wished they had bought that to begin with, as they ended up buying it anyway after trying to save money on a less expensive stroller.

We bought it at REI during their 20% off anniversary sale. We figure we will be using the stroller for many years to come, as our twins are only 7.5 months old. When they were really small, we just put the body cushions in there. Now we only use the head cushions. I can tell you that it is by far the easiest stroller to push. It's true what they say....just a fingertip. It looks wide, but fits fine through doorways and is easier to maneuver through crowds. Love, love, love our B.O.B.

LOVE the BOB Dualie. Look for deals to get it cheaper. REI has bi-yearly sales on jogging strollers. We also used AMEX Rewards Points to pay for ours. It was worth the effort. It is the best jogging stroller, hands down.

FYI, you can use your 20% coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond .com
They have BOB and Baby Jogger brands

And I know the stroller I have is over your price range, but if you will use it daily, you want to get something you love... I love my BumbleRide Twin--it rolls SO smoothly and turns on a dime with just one finger. I rollerblade with it and walk through town on errands.

I can't remember how much my double jogger is (it was a gift) but I'd have to say, it's the best!! Baby Jogger City Series. It's been the one item that actually compliments our lifestyle. I highly recommend it. The kids love it.

I have a tike tech stroller, but a 2008 model and a four wheel jogger, not a three wheel. My husband and I love it. We have a tall 4 1/2 yr old and a 9 mo old. I started my baby in the jogger at around 2 mo with the baby insert in. I love the dual shades. Lots of storage (basket underneath, mesh pockets behind each seat, and zipper pockets on the side of each shade). It also fits through a single standard door (that is the double stroller).

I do have to fill the tires every few months and not having other strollers with wheels to fill or a bike, I don't know if this is usual or not. I just go over to my local bike shop and they put air in them for free.

I hope this helps. I haven't tried folding it up and putting it in the back of my camry, but I think it will fit.
