Fat Loss 4 Idiots - Have Any of You Done This Program?

Hello ladies,

I saw this Sponsor Ad on my Mamasource Daily Digest (10 Rules for a Flat Stomach - Cut Off 9 lbs of Stomach Fat Every 11 Days by Keeping These 10 Rules), so I went to their website (Fat Loss 4 Idiots) to check it out and I was wondering if any of you have done it. If so, how did it work for you? Is it worth the money?

I know the spiel about "you need to cut calories and exercise", blah blah blah, but sometimes it's a Catch 22 because you know you need to exercise but don't have the energy to, or you're looking for something to help you drop a few pounds right away for the added motivational shot in the arm, so a little something to get you going on the right path helps. Just wanting to know if this could possibly be that something. Thanks in advance!

L.

So What Happened?

I decided against buying the program, but haven't made a decision yet about what I'll actually do. Maybe I will try Weight Watchers again - who knows. Thanks for the replies, ladies. As always, your input is much appreciated!

No. I never heard of this but I wouldn't consider a program called Fat Loss 4 Idiots either. Try Weight Watchers.

I purchased that program. I immediately got my money back too. There is a list of about 30 things you can eat and that's about it. It tells you what to eat and when. Like a meal would be a salad with green beans. That's it. If I ate salad and green beans all the time Duh! Of course I would lose weight. Don't do it! I started weight watchers and have lost 13 lbs in 5 weeks. Give that a try. It was a moment of hopelessness that made me buy a fad diet program that I knew would be useless. Good luck to you!

Hi L., I haven't tried this diet.. but I had great success with this other weight loss plan where you lose 10 pounds in 12 days. I lost 25 pounds in 3 months and it's more of a lifestyle change than a diet. It really has helped me to eat right w/ a little bit of exercise that they have right on line. It's an online sight. It cost $29.95 to join up. Here is the website: www.tryfitworks.net/bodyapplicator - Goodluck w/ your weight loss I know what a struggle it can be!
Take care, C.

Hi L.,
Have you heard about the first few fast pounds being water loss? Worse yet, muscle loss?
Have you ever heard of the fat cycle? I get wanting a motivational boost to get started. If you knew that you were actually slowing down your metabolism by doing the traditional diets would you want a different way?
Would like to look at a healthy way to lose weight for long term success?

I looked at this ad too, but I didn't try the program. I have tried other things and I hate to tell you this, but there is no magic program that will get rid of belly fat. You can diet and exercise but once you hit a certain age the belly fat will happen. I do alot of ab exercises and my ab muscles are firm, but they are still covered with a layer of fat. My suggestion to you is to try to work an excerise program into your day (pilates, toning, strength training, cardio whatever works for you)because it is good for you, not just because you want flat abs. Face it normal women over forty that have had children do not have flat abs. Learn to embrace your figure, work it and dress in ways that flatter you. Good luck.

I can help you loose fat. I can also help you with your enery level in a natural way. It's not the Fat Loss 4 Idiots plan, but it works. Let me know if you are curious.

Is this spam? I just want to help! Your feedback would be appreciated rather than reporting me. :)

I've never heard of it. However I'm always leary of things that make big claims. I've been very successful on Weight Watchers. And although they stress the importance of Activity - it doesn't always have to be exercise in the normal sense. We get "Activity Points" for "exercise" - which could include something as simple as doing laundry or shopping. If your body is in motion, it's considered activity. I've lost 20 lbs in about 15 weeks.

I have not. I did do weight watchers online but I recently found an even better website/program that is free. www.sparkpeople.com It's a program that tracks calories, protein, fat, and carbs. Works for me.

If you have ever seen the ad on TV for 6 week body makeover, it really, truly works www.provida.com. The weight falls off but it's not so much a diet as a lifestyle change. Not to say you can't have pizza or a piece of birthday cake, but you do learn to view food differently (healthily). You are never hungry on this program that's for sure! I lost 45 pounds (30 in the first 6 weeks) and have kept it off almost a year. My husbands lost about the same maybe a little more and he too has had no problem keeping it off either. Hope this information helps.
