Men are so hard to buy for & entertain. What are some past Father's Day ideas that have worked well? I'm stumped!!

What can I do next?

Last yesr was our first.... I started an album for him from my daughter with a picture of the two of them and a "drawing" from her (she was only 10 months old). My hope is that we can continue this yearly and when she is older she can write him and share memories with him. I remember as a teen I never had anything good to give mt dad.
Also, last year I arranged for his friend to kidnap him and take him to play golf the Saturday before.

I know what you mean.. This is my husbands first Father's Day (I had to have a Tubal reversal so it is extra special) I am having a hard time coming up with something. He was single for a while and bought anything and everything he wanted.

Last year I paid someone to cut the grass because my husband hates doing it and it took forever with the mower we had when it worked. He really enjoyed the day off and the extra time to spend with us. I know some guys are very funny about their yard so it may not work for all but it's a suggestion that worked for us. Maybe there's something that your husband has been putting off that can be done by someone else. Good luck.

My fiancee loves Buffalo Wild Wings sauces. I got him a three pack of his favorite sauces. It was only about $10.00. I'm going to get him a bunch of new grill stuff to go with it. I'm also going to get one of those handprint kits and give him that. I don't know how memorable it will be, but I think it's something he'll like. Good Luck!!!

Guys are so easy! Don't get stumped about it because most guys are happy with anything. They're not like us women.. hard to please! :) I have gotten a massage gift certificate for my husband a few different years now. I always make the appt and everything because I know if I just give him the certificate, he'll forget he has it. Most of the time I just do a card and let the kids pick him out cards, and then we go out for dinner. One cute thing would be to let the kids pick him out some boxers. I've done that and the kids and Doug both thought it was pretty funny. Now he has spongebob and spiderman boxers, but he doesn't care. This year I got off easy, he bought himself a set of golf clubs.

I'm with you and I'm sure my husband will be disappointed. It seems that everything they want costs thousands of dollars (cars, boats, etc).

I'm just trying to give him a week off of housework and kidwork. I think he'll appreciate it and it'll give me a reality check into how much work he really does.

How about an outdoor fire pit or digital picture frame.
