I took Alli and I did not loose any weight. I exercise 5 days a week, eat low carb and I do not eat greasy foods. I want to loose around 15 pounds and I have hit a road block. Has that happened to anyone else?

What can I do next?

never tried it, but my co worker have. Most said it didn't work. I tried www.fatloss4idiots.com It works. My coworkers also tried it too. Most of us lost between 9-11 lbs in 11 days. This is fat weight not muscle. It's a food combining program that uses regular food and you can eat til you're satisfied. The diets can be changed and hand books come with the program . Only walking is required. Food combining naturally stimulates the metabolism. I felt satisfied and only used food as fuel.

I used Alli, and did lose some weight, but even eating foods low in fat, I still had "side effects"
After a while, I actually started gaining the weight back while still taking it, and for how much it costs!!! arrgg!
I then found Herbalife, I am doing the shapeworks advanced plus protein, I have gone from a size 22 to a size 14 in 3 months!!!! and with all the supplements (vitamins and such) that come with it, I am healthier and thinner than I have been in years!!! my husband who was oh so skeptikal now is using the herbalife as well!
I am so excited about it, I became a distributor!!!!
drop me an email and we can talk more about it.

A friend of mine tried it also and it did not work for her . I just started the Michael Thurman 6 week body makeover . I did it after my first child and lost 73 lbs. when I got pregnant with my second child i again put on alot of weight which for me is hard to get off . but not since i had found this Michael Thurman 6 week body makeover . It takes alot of dedication to work, but is so worth it for me.
Good luck on what you choose . :-)

It's not a magic pill---I've read that you still have to eat a low fat, lower calorie diet and do your exercise. It's just supposed to help you lose more weight, or lose it faster.

Hi there,
I spoke to my docotr about this, and she told me that the Alli pill really only works for people that eat sugary, sweet, or fatty foods. If your trouble is starches such as breads, and pasta and potatos, it doesn't work. So, I am not sure if this is helpful, but that is the info I was given on it. Good luck.

Fat is a blessing. Your body uses it to store toxins and waste away from your organs. I would work on your health and the weight will eventually follow.

If you are interested in health, let me know.

God Bless!

Hello T.. I had the same experience at the beginning of this year. I took it because two of my friends raved about it and the weight they lost. I lost none. :( I then tried an herbal cleanse "thing" and lost some weight. I stopped taking it when I became pregnant, but plan to take it again after I give birth, if it is ok to take while breastfeeding. I can't remember the exact name of it, but my son's sister gets it for me from an herbal store, and it is $28.00 for a bottle with probably a month or two worth of supply. If you'd like the exact name, I can get it for you from her, but for the life of me, I just can't remember it and I don't have it anymore.

Hi T.,
I had been thinking about using Alli but read a few entries on Mamasource and the results seemed to be hit and miss. I did an Isagenix cleanse and lost about 8 pounds. I have been doing their protein shake for breakfast and sometimes lunch since the cleanse and I continue to lose weight. Plus it gives me energy and I no longer crave sugar. Everyone I know who has done it has lost weight. You can find it at banishcravingsloseweight.isagenix.com.

Hello T.,

I've been a health educator for the past 29 years.

Any over-the-counter weight loss pill/product is likely to have harmful chemicals, preservatives, etc. ... and some nasty side effects. No matter how "glamorous" they make the commercials look, not everyone is going to get the same results.

As an advocate of good health & nutrition, I've got something I'd like to you to take a look at that has undergone thorough human studies and is 100% GUARANTEED to work. Just spend a few minutes today and visit my blog:
