My husbands friend races Drag Strip, he has one AWESOME car, we just need sponcers, and to get sponcers we need a web site. Do you know of any place were we can get a web page and domain name (ie.www.theteamnamehere.com) but i dont want to spend a fortune. I do all his photography and we are his fule sponcer. Well he has put me in charge of the website, photography, sponcers etc. Can any of you help me?
www.godaddy.com is highly recommended. It's a reliable host at a minimal cost.

Recently I purchased a domain name through ipower.com and another through godaddy.com. I DEFINITELY recommend godaddy.com over ipower. But something you should know - if you plan to design this website yourself, you also have to have a hosting plan. I paid about $50 for 5 years with godaddy (I paid the same for 1 year with ipower) for the domain name, and you can get hosting for as little as $2.80 a month for 36 months through them. But I'm pretty sure if you get them both at the same time you could save even more than that. Good luck!!
try windowslive.com that is where i got our company site from they even have a free option if you want. It was real easy to use and setup .
I did my own through Yahoo - it was very easy! It's less than $13 a month and there are lots of templates to choose from.

I have mine hosted thru godaddy.com. It's fairly cheap. I built my page on tripod. All together, it probably averages out to $8 a month or so. It's fairly easy. If I can do it, anyone can :)
