I have been having pains in my abdomen and my stomach top part feels full and the other half seems empty. It feels like everything is large and pressing on my lungs and can't breathe. The pain only stops when i am sleeping. I have had no help from drs on what is going on. My stomach litterally gets stomach aches and not my intestines(not all the time). This started after i had my son almost 9 months ago. I need to find an answer cause it is causing such life interuptions. My diet hasn't changed.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I have seen 3 Gastroenterologist. 1st did an endoscope 3 years ago a Hiatal Hernia was found very small though. 2. was either before or after the 1st GI and they wanted me on antispasmodic and try probiotic. I didn't do the antispasmodic due to the overwhelming side effects. 3. was recent just had an Cat Scan done wil see tomorrow what they sew or didn't see. I had an upper GI before that in April with Barium(that seems to be when my pain started slightly and has progressed) they told me everything was normal and saw no Hiatal Hernia which I thought was weird since there is still horrible pain.

Get a referal to a gastroenterologist. He or she will order a gastric emptying study. Good luck!

You need to see a doctor. NOW. Make an appointment Monday AM - or even call your Primary Care Physician and tell him/her what is going on and ask them what they want you to do.

If your doctor hasn't helped you then demand a gastroenterologist or an internist. If they say no, find another doctor. Tell them you are NOT imagining this and need to find someone who will help you.

Good luck!

What kind of doctor did you go to and what tests did they run? I am pretty sure the symptoms you describe could cover a huge number of disorders, from harmless to serious. Don't let them dismiss your concerns if they can't explain them. The problem may have nothing to do with pregnancy and birth; that could be pure coincidence.

You need to go see your doc and she will probably schedule you to drink some barium and have some pictures taken inside your stomach via ct scan.

You need a gastrointestinal doc. An endoscopy would be great. You could be having reflux, a hiatal hernia, or an ulcer. Only a doc can diagnose.
Do it now, before you have serious complications.

ETA: Ok, so you've had many GI tests. It's time for a different track.
Try a heart doc. There is a slt possibility that the pain and fullness, along with shortness of breath is really a heart problem. You need an Echocardiagram. When I had High Blood Pressure, I felt a huge fullness in my chest, like I couldn't catch my breath. It's possible thats what's happening or some congestive heart failure. That's your next move.

See a gastroenterologist and/or a cardiologist.
It could be gallbladder trouble.
It could be heart trouble.
It could be an ulcer trouble.
It could be acid reflux trouble.
It could be hernia trouble.
There's a whole lot that goes on in that area.
Sorry but no one here is going to be able to tell you much.
The best we can do is guess.
Seeing a doctor is your best bet for getting some pain relief and figuring out what is going on.

Please get a second or third opinion, until someone figures out what's going on. You might need to be very demanding. Doctors shouldn't be dismissing you. Hope you feel better soon.
