How to Solve Baby Monitor Issues for 2 Bedrooms?

I have a 2 year old boy and a 6 month old girl. They each sleep in their own rooms & I want to have a monitor in each room. I have a Graco iMonitor Vibe in my daughter's room. I need another monitor for my son's room. I went and bought another Graco iMonitor (we like the one we have) and it won't work. I assume this is because it's getting confused with the other monitor.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I just get another brand or is there a better way??

What can I do next?

We just got a Sony baby monitor. It has 27 channels. Works fantastic. I'm thinking of getting another one. I researched this extensively online and there were several people who wrote and said the Sony 27 channel one (sorry I don't remember off-hand what the name was -- but we got it on Amazon) works great with 2 or even 3 in the same house.

We just put the monitor in the hall outside both the rooms. It's worked fine for us.

I've heard of a dual monitor....by Summer Infant I think. I personally am surprised that they don't have more of them on the market that are affordable. I was recently looking for I think the same thing as you...one receiver for our room and two monitors for their rooms so I wouldn't have to cart all these electronics with me while they are sleeping but that seems hard to find for a good price.
Beware, some that say "dual monitor" are actually one monitor with two receivers.

I have used the fisher price lights and sounds since birth for my first child, who is now 3 1/2. I bought the same monitor (just updated). For child number two, recently. They work great together and do not interfere at all. I just placed the receivers on opposite sides of my dresser, as opossed to right next to one another.
This brand is on the cheaper end too, which is nice!

I asked the SAME thing just last week and I can tell you I didn't really get an answer. I think finding two monitors that work together comes down to trial and error. You just need to keep your reciept and find one that doesn't cancel the other out. If the imonitor is a digital monitor, I would get a cheap analog for the other. etc. Something with lots of channels has the best chance. We ended up getting a video monitor from Summer because they accept multiple cameras. I'll just keep using the audio monitor with the big kids as long as it works, but at least next time we have a baby we can just add on. The Sony babycall got the best reviews for working together or with another monitor.

It will not work-I called the company and because of the radio frequencies u cannot use 2 monitors-so what I did is kept the Graco one in my daughters room because it is an awesome monitorand went and bought a monitor that monitors 2 rooms and only use the one monitor and set it that the other monitor is off and it works great. Hope this helps-L.:)

We just bought a second set of monitors. We have one in our daughters room (fisher price) and one in our room right now which is where the baby is going to be (also fisher price just newer). And we have done a good test on them and they don't interfere at all and work fine. Maybe graco can give you some hints on getting it to work better.

There should be a slider switch on the side or something that says A & B...or 1 & 2. Set one of them to A and the other to B. If they are both set to A or both set to B one will not work. Let me know if this helped :)
