iPhone Or Blackberry?

I am upgrading my phone and currently have a Blackberry that I am pretty happy with. I use it a lot for business and email. The iPhone seems to have a better internet and email experience than the Blackberry but I have heard that it is not as good as a "phone" due to dropped calls, etc. I am undecided on which way to go. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi, I love my Motorola Cliq. It has Google Android. It's a great phone because it integrates Facebook & twitter messages on the home screen. I can get all of my email, text messages and social messages all in one universal inbox. I am **very** happy with this phone!

I did not get an iPhone because it does not have a keyboard. I thought that would drive me nuts. Plus it is only on AT&T and I have T-Mobile.

Get the Droid - better coverage and great phone! I had a blackberry and didn't like it. Very slow internet and clunky to use.

I don't have either, so this is second-hand. I know a couple(close friends) that has one of each. The wife has a blackberry and loves it. The husband has an iPhone and now wishes he had a blackberry instead. He had similar problems as mentioned in the previous poster's response...trouble making calls. He does enjoy the fun apps - he's a big sports guy. He, too, had to have his replaced already.
If I was ready to upgrade mine, I'd personally go with the blackberry. Good luck!

Me hubby bought an iPhone about 2 months ago, and ever since, I have a hard time reaching him. His phone will often times not receive incoming calls, and, instead, put the caller directly into the voicemail. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. It's a VERY annoying problem!

I've never had problems with my iPhone, with coverage or anything else. My husband has a Blackberry, and there have been about a 1/2 dozen times when he will not get any messages for several hours, and then he will get them all at once.

Hi JJ, don't know if you have made your decision yet but I was torn between those same two phones. I went with the blackberry storm 2 and I use it on the tmobile network, not verizon. Purchased unlocked. So far no problems. I do not have the data package because of the wifi feature, I can use it at home on my wireless network or other locations. I only use my phone for txt and calls though, don't really need all the other features but I wanted an upgrade from the behold I had and the blackberry is sleek.

Let me know what you decide/decided.......

IPhone is the best thing you can buy! I haven't had any problems with ATT, and you get the best support from the apple stores!
One decision I'll never regret is getting an iPhone, it's like a laptop in your palm! And best "phone" I've ever owned.

the att network blows! big time. especially since they don't have 3g all over. this doesn't negatively impact all because they happen to be in the "strong signal" area most frequently.

i've had my work blackberry for a while and haven't had big issues with it.

weigh your options and do a price comparison. i do hear many are happy with the iphone- just know that if you are switching from verizon, you have a good chance of not having as good of coverage.

I have a Blackberry Curve (8300 or 8310 or something like that), and my husband has an iPhone. The iPhone does have a lot of neat apps and such, but yes, my husband has a horrible time sometimes with just talking to someone with it! He even went to the Apple store with it once because it was so bad and they exchanged it for a new one (under warranty), and they said it's a common problem with the phones when they get dropped.

My Blackberry is great with calls. I don't like the built-in browser, so I downloaded Opera Mini for it and it is great. I've got the Gmail app that will let me know when I get email. Also have Google Maps app, and the Google search app. Only problem with the Google search app is it uses the built-in browser and you can't set it to use Opera instead.

A newer Blackberry probably has better features, but I've had mine for 2 years with no major problems. My husband hasn't had his iPhone for a year and like I said, already had it replaced!

Oh, if you get a Blackberry, do NOT get any sort of water or liquid on it!! I killed the keyboard on my first one with just a few drops of water! whoops!
