My favorite kind of cookie? The edible kind!!!

I LOVE COOKIES! All kinds. It is such a weakness for me. I can't have them in the house. My daughter is a Girl Scout and sells Girl Scout cookies. They'll be here in about 2 1/2 weeks and I'm already freaking out that I'm not going to be able to resist! My favorite GS cookie is the tagalong - frozen!

Some days I'd sell my kid for hot gooey cookie with a tall frosty glass of milk. Kidding... Don't get hysterical folks.

Peanut blossoms are my fav. (peanut butter cookie with a hershey kiss) I like to make the cookie small so you get a lot of kiss! I love no bakes. Best summer cookie. And nothing beats my mom's chocolate chip cookies. YUM!

the mennonite grocery store near me has cookie dough so dizzyingly delicious and so cheap there's no way i can beat 'em at home. their crown jewel is a chocolate chip cookie made with coconut butter. so good it brings tears to my eyes.
you really can't beat a good chocolate chip.
my dh is with yours, though, peanut butter front and center.
i've successfully combined the two.

Potato chip cookies. They were something my grandma made. I still have dreams about them. They were one of those world war ration foods my grandma explained once. Someone figured out that you could put together butterscotch, sugar, flower and potato chips and the cookies were good. It's amazing how out of necessity bloomed a cookie that even when my grandmother made them in the 80's it was my preference. :)

I love what we call Chocolate Do-Do cookies - we made them in Girl Scouts and they are officially Chocolate No Bake cookies (oatmeal, milk, creamy peanut butter, butter, sugar, vanilla, Hershey's Cocoa)

Peanut Butter cookies - especially with the Hershey's Kiss in the middle

Lemon Drop cookies

Chocolate Chip cookies

See - I can't have just one??!!!

My grandmother made no-bake cookies that are my favorite. Melt together butter, sugar, and cocoa, ad peanut butter, oatmeal, vanilla, and pecans, drop by spoonfuls and let cool.
I don't know if they have a name - we just call them MawMaw's cookies.

Sigh, I am a baked goods fiend, so too many to choose from to pick just 1 favorite! But here are my top cookies:

lemon meltaways, must be from Cutler's cookies. (none of the homemade recipes I have tried even come close)

chocolate chip coconut macadamia (Bon Fire brand, these are the ones you can get at Maverick gas stations)

Root beer cookies with root beer butter icing (homemade, best recipe ever!)
