Junior Kindergarten Flower Mound Area

I know you've already received recommendations for DKH Academy in Highland Village, but I just wanted to say that we absolutely loved it! My son went there for 3 years (3-yr old, 4-yr old, and Jr. Kindergarten). The staff is awesome and I always highly recommend them to everyone!

My son's birthday is in August, and we also thought he wasn't ready for the long kindergarten days, so DKH was the perfect solution at 1/2 days.

DKH Academy in Highland Village is AMAZING! Both of my children went there and couldn't have been more prepared for elementary school. Haven't come across a teacher who wasn't wonderful. Many friends have sent there children there as well and are just as happy. Definitely worth looking at and touring!

Lamb of God has a junior kindergarten.

Check out Lewisville Christian School (www.lcsweb.org) on Garden Ridge and Main St. They have an excellent junior kindergarten program. They are reasonably priced and the hours get your child ready for the longer public school hours. The teachers there are fabulous as well! Aside from their regular class, the kids also go to music, movement and Spanish and eat in the 'cafeteria' to get them ready for public school.

Lamb of God has Jr. Kindergarten. My kids love it! They are on Cross Timbers in front of Parker Square in Flower Mound. They are having Open House this week I believe. Best wishes and God bless!

Hey! My son attends DKH Academy in Highland Village; this is his second year there and he will be attending Jr. K there in the fall as he will not be 5 until the end of September. We couldn't be happier with the school, directors, teachers or learning experience. It is a special, magical place that I can't say enough good things about. Jr. K there is M-F 8:30 am - 1 pm. They are actually doing a Kindergarten round up on this Thursday night (1.26) from 7-8 pm so you can go check out the classroom, ciriculim and meet the teachers. Honestly, as dramatic as it may sound, choosing DKH as my son's preschool is one the best decisions I've made as a parent. My 5 year old twins (boy/girl) go to Lewisville Christian School for the Junior Kindergarten program. Their birthday is in June but my son was not ready for Kindergarten. My husband ans I are very pleased with the program and both of our children have grown so much over the past 5 months. It is a 5 day a week program from 9-1 and they have Stay and Play until 2 if you chose that option.

Check out DKH in Highland Village. Currently they have 3 jr k classes 5 days a week from 8:30 -1. Check out website at www.dkhacademy.org. We have been there for 3 years and have loved it.

my daughter went to Lewisville Christian school too for their pre-k. It was the best thing for her. The teacher there is amazing as well as the rest of the staff. The program was great, taught my daughter to write better and they were reading by the end of the year. There are only 12 kids, max, in the class. When she was there it was 7 boys and 5 girls. Another friend's son went 2 years ago and it was an all boys class. My daughter went into kindergarten so much more confident and out going then if she had started the year before. It is worth every penny!!!

Have you looked into the public schools' preschool programs? Denton ISD has one at several schools, as well as an early childhood school called Gonzales.

Have you tried Merryhill School of Flower Mound? Both of my children attended junior Kindergarten there and loved it!
