Just Found Out I Am Pregnant and Am Worried....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Take a deep breath!!! DO NOT over think this or become stressed. EACH pregnancy is different and your body will do different things with each pregnancy.

I've been pregnant 5 times - I have two healthy boys. I've lost babies at 12, 14 and 20 weeks....all with no symptoms...so please - do NOT stress over this! be excited that you are being blessed with a bundle of joy!

If God decides that this baby isn't perfect for you - so be it. I know it's hard to hear - but as someone who has experienced losses - I have to say - only time will heal the wound and to be honest - it never really "heals"....you just have to accept that it happened.

So instead of stressing yourself over WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN - enjoy what you have now....

I had two miscarriages in between two sucessful babies. Its easy for me to tell you to relax and take it easy, don't overanalize and overthink everything. But, your going to be on pins and needles until you get past your hurdle. Its really too early to overanalize your pregnancy sympotms or lack thereof, remember every pregnancy is different.

With my daughter my breasts were not sore in the beginning of my pregnancy, with my son they were. I've also had three miscarriages and with two I DID have sensitive breasts and with one I did not. Relax, I don't think it's anything to worry about yet. Congratulations!

You're so, so early on in the pregnancy that worrying like this isn't beneficial. Don't over-analyze the symptoms or lack of symptoms right now because it's just too early to have a great build-up of hcg and such. Every pregnancy is different.

Edited to add: I've also had a pregnancy loss so I do understand the worry and fear that comes with the next pregnancy. I'm sorry that you're so worried this early on. I never knew I was pregnant this early... I always waited a bit longer to make sure I was pregnant and that it wasn't just a late pregnancy or a chemical pregnancy (the body thinks it's pregnant, essentially, but it's not) so I would wait for confirmation until 8-10 weeks. My OB wouldn't even do an ultrasound until the estimated 10 weeks because of risk of early pregnancy loss being so high (85% or so of pregnancies end in miscarriage but we never realize it because we think it's a regular period except now EPT's are so early we're finding out we're pregnant even before we miss a period).

With my first pregnancy my breasts hurt like heck and I was exhausted beyond belief almost immediately. And...at 7 weeks we found out that the pregnancy was not going to progress. I decided to let my body miscarry naturally about 7 weeks later.

With my second pregnancy I didn't even know I was pregnant (had been on fertility treatments for three years prior to pregnancy #1) and was getting ready to go back on fertility again. I even had the Prometrium on hand to begin taking to get a withdrawal period, but I had to have one last TV ultrasound check at the RE before beginning a cycle. Well, I found out why I hadn't gotten my period yet - I was pregnant! I had absolutely no symptoms until about week 9.

So yes, it is entirely possible to not have symptoms yet be pregnant. Good luck to you!

Congratulations! Please try not to worry. It is very common for a woman not to experience any breast changes right away with subsequent pregnancies. Like you, with my first pregnancy I noticed breast tenderness right away, but with my other 2 pregnancies they weren't tender until 6-8 weeks along. I've had 3 healthy babies. Best wishes. Try not to worry. My breasts were only tender with pregnancy #1. I never had any other symptoms related to my breasts with baby 2 or 3 until they got huge around 24 weeks. I didn't even get nausea until about 8 weeks with babies 2 and 3. Both of those pregnancies were great! I am currently almost 39 weeks with #3. Best wishes to you and relax.

I never had tender breasts with this pregnancy (#2). I was told that the second time around you may not feel the same tenderness, especially if you breastfed the first time. Congratulations!

I had very tender breasts for my first pregnancy and did not have any tenderness for my second. I just gave birth to my second healthy boy 4 months ago. Congratulations! Thing will be fine :)

I remember this after miscarrying. It is the worst feeling to want to be happy, yet not too attached because it might not work out.

Talk to your doctor. Mine always made me feel better.
