Hi Mamas! Has anyone used the Kirkland Signature diapers from Costco? If so, what do you think as far as comfort and leak protection? We currently use Pampers/Huggies, and we're looking to switch to a lower-cost diaper for our 19-month-old daughter. Thanks for any advice!

I got them for my 8 month old and they good enough. I like pampers the best, but for how cheap the kirkland diapers are, I'll deal and use them. They keep everything in, but I feel like they don't hold as much as pampers. But still, for how cheap they are compared to other diapers, they work just fine! Hope that helps.

Hi Meredith,

I am guessing your daughter is in a size 3 right now? The price of Huggies at costco are actually cheaper than kirkland. Their Huggies are $0.23/per diaper and Kirklands are $0.24/per diaper. Not a big difference.
What I do, is avoid costco altogether, and buy from www.diapers.com. Not cheaper, but delivery is always free if you order over $40.00 and I buy my wipes there too. And they arrive within 2 to 3 days. They also gave me a free subscription to parenting magazine. And they send an email reminder when they think you'll need to reorder. There Huggies Snug and Dry diapers, size 3, are $0.23/per diaper. http://www.diapers.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?product...

Check it out!

I have twins, we used Kirkland diapers and it's my understanding they are pampers with the costco label. Even if they aren't we used hundreds if not thousands and were just as happy with those as the more expensive brands. We also used kirkland wipes and formula.

Yes, we use the Kirkland diapers and they have worked great for us. However, we do use Huggies nighttime in the evenings.

Kirkland diapers (and wipes) are fabulous.....we are amazed at the amount they hold (without leaking) during our one-year-old's 11-12 hour overnights - those are some FULL diapers! She also has never had a diaper rash.

We've used them exclusively and I've been happy with them. I read somewhere that kirkland diapers are exactly like huggies but I don't know for sure because I’ve never compared them myself. I've only had them leak a couple of times and one of those times was when my husband strapped her in a little crooked and gave her a little diaper wedgie. The other time was during a two hour car ride where grandma kept her quiet with juice and water sippy cups for nearly the whole trip.

Other than that they live through the night very well and my baby has never had a diaper rash. We also buy the costco unscented wipes so in conjunction we've never had a bad leak or rash while using them. I recommend them.

My brother in law & cousin both work for Costco. The Kirkland diapers are manufactured by Huggies (which is how Costco works: they carry one name brand and in that contract they make arrangments for the manufacturer to make their generic brand for them) so they are very similar to Huggies base-line product. I have many friends who use them and like them. We cloth diaper so I can't give you my personal opinion.
