Looking for a Diet Pill

I am looking for a diet pill (OTC) that is affective and has little to no side effects. When I say side effects, I mean, nausea, gas, jitters, etc... I am looking to loose a significant amount of weight. I'm going to diet/exercise, but I need a little extra help. I have tried to loose weight without pills, but to no avail. That is why I need the extra help. I really am not asking if anyone thinks a diet pill is a good idea. I am asking if anyone has tried one that does not cause side effects.
Thanks for all the advice. I have found what I am looking for, really!

Try Slimquick it works really well with no side effects. It's made for women. I advise my clients to take it.

I know you don't want to hear it but pills are not the answer. Please believe me when I tell you that they will only make it worse in the long run. I am a personal trainer and I have known many people that have tried the pills and dieting. It may work for awhile but in the long run you will gain the weight back and then some. I know you said you are dieting and exercising, I'd like to give you some tips. First mistake most people make is that they only do cardio exercise. BIG MISTAKE...cardio only burns calories while you are working out and for a short while after. EVERYONE needs resistance/weight training especially women. It will boost your metabolism so that you are burning more calories all day long everyday. Second, dieting does NOT work. You only make it harder to lose weight when you diet. YES, you do need to watch the calories that you are putting into your body but if you don't get enough to eat you are only making it harder to lose weight. Eat often and eat small snacks/meals. Don't deprive yourself of your favorite foods just eat them in smaller portions. Eat a fruit or vegetable at every meal/snack, it will help fill you up and keep you full longer. If you need more help you can email me at ____@____.com a great workout that includes your child check out www.babybootcamp.com. They have classes all over the Philly area and all over the U.S. for that matter. Good luck.

I see a diet doctor her name is Dr. Detrich she is in douglassville she precribed me with a presciption, the only side effects I have is dry mouth but it's not for everyone as all medications affect people different ,the first month the results are always slow but so far I have lost 15 lbs and it's been two months almost, along with diet and exercise. She also recommends hoodia that you can get over the counter, both are expensive (the doctor doesn't take insurance)but work very well for me and nothing ever did or they made me feel weird or the side effects were way to scary.

Diet pills are not the answer, I've tried phentrimine that works well but it made me mean, trim spa (jitters), stacker (jitters too),herbalife (didn't work) ones with green tea and so on.... Every time I've stop taking them I've put on extra weight at least 5 pounds. I think I've wrecked my metabolism. The only true way to lose weight is calories in verses calories burned. Eat right and exersise. Save your money don't buy pills. Good things are not easy to come by, you need to work hard for your weight loss.

Can't recommend them. They don't work -- even if you think you just want to use a diet pill to jump start your weight loss plan. Whatever you do to your metabolism with the pill will just crash when you come off of it. I've lost 40 pounds with WeightWatchers.com. I don't go to meetings. Do it all online. There are even online chat rooms and forums that are a great help, and tons of great recipes. I also work out at the Y (but not as much as I should!)
Sorry. Really the only thing that works in the long run is the thing that is the hardest to do: sensible food intake and exercise.

I actually tried diet pills all diffrent ( Trim Spa)( hydroxy Cut) and (Hot Rocks) to try to loose weight and none of them helped i recently started Curves and in 3 Mo. i lost aro 13 Lbs and numerous inches. I also cut back on soda and started eating less espically at night. I would not recomend diet pills just try to do it naturally first!!! Good Luck

S.,
Have you looked into Herbalife? I used to be a distributor and all of my clients had excellent results. Rather than suppressing the appetite, you replace 1-2 meals a day with a protein shake and vitamins. I LOVED them! The cost is slightly less than what you would spend on food anyway. You should be able to find a distributor in your phone book or newspaper. Just remember, it's not healthy to lose weight fast. 1.5-2 lbs per week is ideal.

I've also heard great things about weight watchers which practices moderation rather than starvation.

Good luck!

i sell weight loss products that are herbal and botanically based, and are made without animal products/by-products. there is a weight loss system i use to maintain my figure, and love, which includes a pill that you take to suppress your appetite. be careful with other "diet pills"...they offer "magic" results, but are often harmful to your body in ways they are not required to tell you.
message me, and we can chat, if you'd like...
good luck! :)

S.,
It sounds like we're in the same boat! If you hear of anything, let me know........I've tried Hoodia, Xendadrine, and another one I can't think of and they do nothing, but seem to make me hungrier.

Weight Watchers worked for me a couple of years ago, but I just don't have the time to do that again. And quite frankly, I'm embarrassed to go back heavier than I started.

Please let me know of you have any suggestions that work. Thanks!

Hello S.,
I believe in Hoodia and Alli. Minimal side effects. Personally I liked Hoodia better, but Alli works well, too. Especially with your diet and working out.
Good luck,

Diet pills are not the answer!! They may work at first, but the only real way to lose weight and keep it off is to change the way you eat. I know you may not want to hear that, but it's true.
Just a few little changes will make a difference. Stop drinking soda, switch to light bread, use light butter or margarine, cut out as much sugar as you can (Splenda is great), and instead of 3 big meals, eat 5 or six small meals throughout the day. And eat breakfast!! You need it to get your metabolism going. Try to increase your activity a liitle more each day- park further from the store, take the stairs, squat instead of bend, go out and play with your girls! Don't forget to drink plenty of water- 8 glasses a day!
I hope this helps. I have lost 47 lbs. on L.A. Weightloss (expensive!)and this is pretty much how it works Good Luck!

My husband is using a medicine called Hydroxycut, as well as working out at a gym. It helps speed up his metabolism and curves his appatite. It is working well and as long as you take a daily vitamin as well it has very little side effects.

Diet pills are never the long term answer for weight loss. I have had great experiences with Weight Watchers online, it really teaches you how to change your lifestyle and get healthy. The online point plan is great and so easy, no meetings to go to, you just log your points daily in to their online computer system.

It is also much less expensive than a diet pill.

As with any weight loss, you have to be completely 100% committed to doing this for you, no one else, YOU. If you aren't ready mentally, its pointless to even both trying.

I wish you lots of luck.
