I am looking for a Dr. in Cumming that is reliable, attentive and cares about their patients. I was going to a great Dr. but changed insurance. The two Drs. I have tried since then have not been so great. One made it obvious that they were trying to get out of the office (on Halloween) when I came in and gave me another patient's RX note for pain killers along with my RX. The other one got my name wrong when I called in for the appt. (Totally wrong last name, not even close.)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have used Roswell Pediatrics for many many years. In fact, the one physician I use, Dr. Robert Burnham use to be with Dunwoody Pediatrics. When he left that group, we left with him. He started seeing my oldest when she was 4 and he is now seeing her children. My two younger ones, 8 and 11 will not see any other physician but him, unless it is a dire emergency. The whole group is great, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good pediatric group. I don't think Dr. Burnham is taking new patients, but he has wonderful wonderful partners. I've been going to North Fulton Family Medicine (http://www.nffm.md/) at their Cumming office by the hospital. I've only seen a PA, Deborah Whitehair, so I can't speak for any of the doctors. But she's great, as well as all nurses and office staff. It's a big practice, but that also creates a lot of slots and I've never had a problem getting an appointment. I also love that they are an electronic records office. Your test results are posted on their secure website, you can request prescription refills via their website, it's all very convenient.
