I am looking for someone to teach infant swim lessons. I know that there was an individual that taught at her home here in Plano that was recommended previously, but I failed to keep this info. If you all know anyone or anywhere that you can recommend, please let me know.

It sounds like you are looking for Patty Favalora with Swim All Your Life. ____@____.com She is WONDERFUL! My daughter began swim lessons at 6 months with the Mommy and me class. She was able to swim - not across the pool but she was really swimming at 2 1/2 years. Patty is GREAT!! She is loving and fun and a good teacher. I have taught and coached for 10 years and have seen alot of teachers/coaches. She is really good.

Let me know if you have questions.

www.infantswim.com it is for Infant Swim Resource. They teach survival first then swimming. It is a very good program. Go to the website for an instructor.

Hi K.,

My son started with Infant Swim Resource when he was 7 months old. Their website is infantswim.com. The instructor is Sheri Phillips. Her info is:
###-###-####
____@____.com
6744 Amethyst Lane
Plano TX 75023

The lessons are not necessarily "fun". They are to teach the baby to save his/herself if they fall in water. My baby learned to float and breathe if he fell in. E-mail me with any questions.

I would love to hear any responses that you get. I have a 4 month old and we would love to get her into swim as soon as possible. Let me know what the age requirement is? Thanks so much!

It may be a bit of a drive for you, but I have taken Jacob (who will be 3 in Aug.) the past two years to a lady named Bev Steinfink. ____@____.com
###-###-####
She is near Royal and 75. I have a 20 min. drive there but I like her, and will be taking Jacob and his 8 mo. old brother this year again. It is at her home and she has been doing this for 20 years. Good Luck! N. V.

Her name is Sheri Phillips. You can look her up on www.infantswim.com. I actually just recently contacted her the other day to inquire about infant swim for my daughter. her email is : ____@____.com

The infant swim website did not list any other individuals in this area who were trained in this. This woman charges 75$/week and lessons are 5 days a week for 10minutes. I couldn't make that time committment so I opted to put my daughter in a waterbabies class at Plano Parks and Rec and we are loving it!

Hope this helps!

Hi K.! If you go to the Plano Parks and Recreation website, they offer classes all year long. They are also very inexpensive. Good luck on your search!
