Looking for Input on the Graco Quattro Tour Duo

My daughter bought one (French Roast) for her twin daughters and it was perfect because she could use it with two car seats. It's pretty easy to use - a little heavy, but maneuvers easily. When you use it without the carseats the front seat does not recline as far back as the front, but I personnally thought it was well worth the money.

I was just shopping for a double stroller and I thought the Quattro was too big and clumsy.

Go to a store and test it out. Try to manuever it between shopping racks. That was how I made my decision.

I spent the money for a Phil and Ted's Sport model with the tandem seat.

When I bought my double stroller I looked at nearly every one out there in person. I did not like the Quattro Tour Duo because it was big, clumsy, heavy, hard to steer. It did collapse fairly easily if that is important to you. I needed my stroller for around the neighborhood and rarely take it in the car. I got the Phil & Ted Vibe with the tandem seat and we love it. I love the steering and that the kids are kind of stadium seated. It is as compact a double stoller as you can find I think. We have collapsed it and taken it on the plane and it did fine. (Practice collapsing first, a little tricky). So it really depends on what features are important to you. The other one we looked at was the contour combo that you can change all the seats around and stuff. Same as the graco...big, bulky, much longer than it actually is.

I actually like the stroller, but can't stand having to put it in the car. I have a smaller car and it will fit into the trunk, with a little pushing. The problem is that I can't get anything else into the trunk. As a result, I can't take it with me when we take a trip -which is a bummer.

Love It! I absolutely hate the side-by-side double strollers - they are impossible to fit through most doorways, aisles, etc. I am a huge Graco fan and I absolutely love this stroller! Its big and heavy to lift in and out of the car, but that is my only complaint.

I don't Have two children but I have an 18 month old and I used to work in a childrens store (Right Start). I have never personally used this one but a very popular stroller (that if I were expecting I would buy) is the babytrend sit n stand deluxe. I don't know what your price point is but it runs about $160 and it is amazing. You can totally remove the second seat when your oldest is ready to just sit on a small platform and it accepts all kinds of infant seats on the front. I suggest you check it out in store or online!!

I actually bought the Combi Twin Savy side by side stroller and love it. My kids are the same age apart...18 months. This stroller is light and easy to collapse and takes up about the same room as my single stroller. I have also been told that this side by side stroller is one of the few that fits through all doors. It also has six wheels, which means that it is easy to stroll, even with one hand. I also bought it used on Craigslist, which is what I suggest you do (whichever stroller you decide to buy). Also, I would ask around to all your friends who have double strollers and borrow different kinds for a weekend to decide which one you prefer.

I purchased the Graco Quattro tour Duo when my daughter was born, my son was 20 months. For its price point, I think it is the nicest one out there. It is a beast. All doubles are, but I liked the handling and how compact it is folded up. My biggest complaint in getting it going when both kids, diaper bag and whatever else is in it. You definitely have to put some muscle behind it.
My favorite thing about it is I use it when I go grocery shopping. The kids are comfy and I place my bags around the curved handles. I fill the bags and the bottom basket with the groceries then check out. It is very convenient.
There are more sleek models out there but I really liked the storage in this one. With two kids, you carry a lot of stuff. The storage is critical. Good luck!

thats what i would get if i were expecting but i have never used it. i have the graco duo though and love it. i personally go for strollers with tray and cup holders for each kid and myself. a nice sized basket and seats that recline. i love mine.

I didn't read all the responses but it appears that I am going against the grain here. I have had mine for over a year. My kids are 1 and 2 now and I love it. It is heavy and if you don't have a big trunk, you might find it difficult to get it to fit. It collapses easily and the stearing is great if you use both hands. It is definitely not a one handed stearable stroller. I love the huge basket underneath and the fact that I can hang my bags and whatever on the handles when I'm shopping is an added bonus. I love that there are snack cups for the front and back seats, which you cannot always find. My kids love it and with my 2yr old being exceptionally tall, it's a perfect fit for her. Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for. I also loved it because I could put the infant carrier close to me whereas the sit and stand deluxe did not give me that option.

I'm not sure what model I have, but I have the Graco double stroller and hated it. The thing doesn't steer well at all and is bulky. I would suggest going to the store and putting your daughter in the front and something about 10 lbs in the back and try stearing it around and see how it does for you. My friend had the same problem with hers in terms of steering.
