The higher the sale pressure the less I have confidence in the product.
My husband has an old acquaintance that has been sending him emails about this stuff that sounds like a paid advertisement! Yuck.

This is a great product... Excelent source to get the benefits of the Acai berry from South America. I have felt MUCH better since drinking it. I have always used high quality supplements so I wasn't started depleted when I began using it. You don't have to particpate in the MLM portion of the business to buy it wholesale, just become a distrbutor for self use. Hainvg said that my sister makes good money as a distributor. Another remarkable benefit is in diabetics. It has been known to decrease the amount meds the diabetics need, help with regulating the blood sugar. I have never heard of it, but I do MLM (multi-level marketing) with Shaklee, and not all MLM are bad. However, I am a skeptic myself and you are doing the right thing to check it out. Before I got started with Shaklee I did lots of "googling" and asking around. I found good stuff and so I proceeded. Try doing some googling and see what comes up.

I don't know about pyramid but most certainly MLM scam.
1 couple in our network of friends has pushed everyone away just by trying to get us all to sign up. Several of us thought we were going to a drop in party last year at their house and it was a scheme to promote the juice. Of 6 couples, 3 of us walked out very insulted in the trickery used to get us there. We had never heard of this drink until we got to the party.
This juice is being pushed harder than some time share or car sales. They get mad if you say no thank you and then get very defensive. The woman of the pushing couple told me I was risking my life by not using it, LOL. THey use any tactic possible to hook you. LEARY LEARY LEARY to ME.
There must be a lot of $$ somewhere for someone because these ex-friends are pushing everyone like crazy. It will die down when the hype goes away and everyone realizes there is no such thing as get rich quick. I guess the $$ part comes in at how many people you hound long enough to get them to sign up with you so they will shut up. We prefer to make our $ ourselves, not by filling up someone else's pocketbook.
When something is pushed so hard....my red flags go sky high. If it is so good why would you have to hard sell like that and lose friends?
I do know you can get drinks with the acai berry at Sprouts, Market Street and probably a lot of other stores where you shop on your own and are not hasseled like some creepy salesman.
Just my two cents on MLM's. No offense if someone is in one...God bless you.
