Recommendations for a SAHM Who Needs Some Extra Income

I had my son at the end of January. He was a preemie and his hospital bills are costing us a pretty penny. I had a wonderful job and they wanted to keep me but I really feel I should be at home to raise my child. My husband makes decent money, but things are really tight with our new bills and my being at home now. I have been looking for something to do from home for a while, but am pretty skeptical of the programs they have out there because a lot of them are fraudulent and/or you don't make as much as they say you will. Anyone already working from home and loving it, or know someone else who is? Any other ideas on how to make some extra money to make ends meet? Thanks.

What can I do next?

Hello J. - I don't know if this is an exact match, if you're still looking for something, or if you live in the Richardson/Addison area, but I've started a business - www.kid-express.com. I expect to grow relatively quickly and will need part-time drivers for my shuttles. Please visit the site to see if it appeals (if it's close enough) and feel free to contact me if it sounds good to you. Thanks and good luck with your search!

First of all i want to commend you for your desire to stay at home. I did with my boys for 12 years and loved every moment of it. God will honor your heart and desire for this. Anyway I've tried so many work at home companies and none has been so quick with return on investment than this one. I'm with Stream /Ignite and we sell a necessity and a service. Everyone uses and needs electricity. It's been so easy because our prices are lower than anyone elses out there and it sells itself. Check out my website for info.
www.junesenergy.igniteinc.biz my contact info is on my website also. Good Luck to you and God bless.

Have you tried selling stuff online? or you could try babysitting, like your own small in-home daycare, probably not a good idea right now since you have a newborn but maybe in the future. Be careful with online scams that promise you to make easy money, there's no such thing. Just relax, there's many people that have unpaid medical bills, you'll get yours paid in time. No matter how small your payments are ($20/mo), as long as you are trying it will not go on your credit report. God will see to it that your family's needs are met.

Hi J.! I am in the same boat with you. I recently gave birth to my second daughter on 02/15 of this year and had to place my career on hold jsut to raise my girls. I have a 3 year old as well. I worked as a transplant coordinator asst for 5 years a hospital and loved what I did. I have been a SAHM now since she was born, even though I stopped working my hubby makes decent money for our bills. But soemtimes we have to be on a tight budget to pay our bills. I too have been trying to find something part time but in the medical field, but had no luck. Everone now a days is looking for full time. But dont worry you have made the best decision ever to stay at home with your child.
