I was wondering if there are any moms in the CR area that have an organized Moms Night Out? Or if anyone is interested in being part of a monthly Moms Night Out group. I am looking for other moms that are interested in getting together for dinner or a movie or going to a theater performance or even a local sporting event on a monthly basis. I would be more than willing to plan the events if a group like this does not already exist.

Just wanted to let everyone know about 2 great womens/moms oraganizations. Moms Club is an international organization, that has playgroups, outings, moms activities and more. It is geared mostly towards stay at home moms. I also belong to a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Its an intenational womens organization devoted to lifelong friendship and learning. Most chapters meet 1-2 times a month. I joined before having a baby and the group of women have become better friends then I've ever known. I see them one night a month just us and then one other time we either have girls night, couples, families or we meet with out chapters in the area. There are 11 chapters in the CR/Marion area. I think this is a GREAT idea! I don't know of any group like this already, but if one is created, I would go!
I would also be interested in joing a group like this, it woudl be nice to be able to go out with other women who are in the same situations and having some of hte same life experiences.
Hi, My name is T., I'm 27, single. I have a 5 yr old son, Caleb, who's in Kindergarten. I'm new to this site. I don't live in CR, but I do live in Marion, which is probably close enough. I don't know of any other group like that either and I would also like to do something like that in my free time. Thing is tho, I tend to be scheduled at night (I just started @ Ryan's Steakhouse as a server/hostess) and I don't have a vehicle (or a driver's license and that tends to be a problem when I want to just go out and do stuff)....gotta ride the city busses (UGHHH!)
