I have a huge knot in my shoulder from carrying my baby's infant carrier (surprise!) not to mention just overall tension in my neck and shoulders. The whole day spa thing would be nice, but right now I just need relief and am looking for referrals for a massage therapist to just get the job done. Anyone?

There is a massage therapy school on 75 and white ave that charges $35 for a full massage. I would call them. I have used them several times and i was pleasantly surprised how great it was.It is nothing fancy but it is clean and very professional.
or Serentity Spa in the Market Street shopping center. The lady that does the massages there is fantastic..

Try Secret Garden Day Spa. It isn't in McKinney - it is in Lucas (the Bethany Rd. exit off of 75). She is awesome. I love her waxing work and my husband simply adores her massages. She has also become a great friend of ours. She built a spa on her property and really works to give each client specific and individual attention and care.

I've been going to Joanne at That Elegant Touch off of Eldorado & 75. She does an amazing job. She does this thing to release the pressure from your lower back...hurts almost as much as childbirth, but after, you are a new woman. That may not sound like the best endorsement...but trust me, she is wonderful.
