Sleep Number Bed or Comfortaire Direct Which One Should I Buy?

Comfortaire direct seems to be the best overall value. Since I've looked online and asked people close to me what they felt I get mixed reviews.

I googled sleep like the dead, by far a better choice seems to be the Comfortaire. Apparently looks like a much better deal. Any information you could give would help me change my mind, for this is a large purchase.

Thank You

Just like the others have said, Tempur pedic. This is by far and away the best mattress I have ever slept on. I would not imagine ever buying another kind. Good luck with your search!

It looks like I may be the only one who loves my Sleep Number bed. My husband and I bought our king size 5000 when I was 5 months pregnant with our first child. We heard through a friend of ours that SN sells refurbished models which are basically the floor models that have been re-upholstered. The interior and motor thing are not replaced. We paid 1/2 of what it would have cost if w bought it new. It has been great through both pregnancies because I could adjust my number as my weight and support needs changed. We really love it.

Have had one for almost 5 years and would not even consider another bed. Might be a little more epxensive than the other two you are considering but it is well worth it for something that you spend so much time on over the course of your life.

Personally, I slept on a sleep number bed for a week... had the WORST sleep of my life. Changed the setting every night trying to get it right.. HATED it. Would never buy.
Have a TempurPedic... best thing EVER!

Don't know much about the Comfortaire but my folks have a Sleep number bed and they hate it. Their neighbors also have a sleep number bed and they both seem to be on the same wavelength so my folks now have to unplug their bed when they get it to the firmness they desire or everytime the neighbor changes their setting it changes my folks as well!! This is confirmed with the neighbor.

My hubby and I have an Original Matress FActory bed and we love it. My folks love their guest bed which is OMF. After having a Serta Perfect sleeper that crapped out after just a few years we love that our pillow top is flippable and has not "dipped" in the middle. We have owned it for about 3 years now. I cannot appreciate any changes in the matress over those 3 years. I would definitely go back to them for another matress when we need it for other rooms.
Good luck!

My husband and I purchased a sleep number queen pillowtop bed over 4 years ago for $2000. We have moved twice since then, so I am not sure if we have hooked it up properly every time. But this last year, it seems that we hate our bed more and more. We set our sides at 45 and either 50 or 60 for my husband's side. It feels like we sink in the middle on both our sides. It also feels like the bottom half of the bed never changes, so our feet feel elevated a little. I wonder if we need to read the directions again to see if we have installed our bed correctly. I will do that tonight and then let you know if there are positive changes.

We have had 2 sleep number beds and loved them both. You ask, "Why 2?" Well, our first was a queen size because we had a queen frame. We slept on that for more than 12 years without problems. Then I got pregnant and we wanted to get a King size bed for more room, so we upgraded to the top of the line and LOVE IT even more! my husband and I have a hard time sleeping anywhere other than our own bed.

good luck with your decision.
