Uh-oh? Am I Preggers or Just Stressed?

My monthly visitor hasn't been heard from since November. Hubby and I use condoms as prevention, but we both are quite aware that there's that .01% chance for me to still get pregnant. I mentioned to him that I was late last week (was almsot 2 weeks late then) and took an EPT test which came out negative, but "Auntie Flo" has still yet to visit me. However, the holidays were also a very stressful time for us, our youngest son got an infection in a place where boys don't want infections, which required 2 different ER visits and a trip to the peditrician, and we're starting to go through bankruptcy proceedings, so I don't know if I missed my cycle due to stress or if #3 is actually on the way or not. How much longer should I wait before I take another test/call a doctor? I'm rather scared of being pregnant again because the doctor that delivered our first 2 no longer practices in my area, so I'd have to hunt for another OB again

Forgot to add- I'm not having any of the morning sickness/upset stomach problems that occured witht he first two, nor the tenderness or cravings.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Apparntaly, I was stressed. Almost 3 weeks late, but I finally started. Funny....I was relieved and disappointed at the same time, lol. Thank you for the wonderful advice though everyone.

Well to be safe than sorry I would go to the doctor. Not to freak you out or stress you anymore but it could be something else. Or something as simple as stress. I would call and get an appointment ASAP! Good Luck and Best Wishes!

You just might be pregnant! I have a friend at work that has two kids and both never came up on home pregnancy tests. Maybe it's a girl??? You have two boys and seem to have had the same experiences with both of them. I only have one child so I can't speak from personal experience, but a couple of my friends noticed differences with their pregnancies when they were pregnant with the different sexes. I would definitely make a doctor's appointment. I know you mentioned your previous doc moved out of your area, but you're on the best site to get advise on finding a great doc in your area!

Good luck!

When I was pregnant I did not think I could be and I took as a precaution an EPT test, then later I took 2 more - they were all negative. Just to be safe I would go to the doc and have them give you a test and also make sure something else is not going on too. Stress can delay it but from my experiences it has also made mine worst too.

Make an appointment with a doctor and get it checked out. IF you don't have a GYN ask your family doctor for a referral.

If you decide that a doctor is in order, I would recommend Dr. David Stockwell ###-###-####). He practices in one of the towers at Riverside Hospital and delivers there as well. He has been my doctor through several miscarriages and 2 successsful deliveries. He is a very good doctor even if you are not seeing him for a pregnancy.

It's probably just stress, but if you want to be sure your doctor can do a blood test and you will get a definate answer. You should contact your doctor anyway just to rule out any other issues.

My doctors always told me to wait a week and then take another test. If after that you are still unsure you can go see your regular dr.
