Alrighty so my son has just began to enter the tv stage. Right now he'll watch tv as long as..... they're puppet (barney, babybop etc.) that sing.. lots of singing is important.. so my problem is that i am absolutely sick of barney lol. Anyone know any other singing puppet (not really sure what they're called) and the wiggles is out for some reason he takes no interest in it at all.
PLEEEEASE someone give me an idea.
Both of my daughters loved Sesame Street. I have a 10 year old and an 18 month old and have gone through two copies of Elmo in Grouchland due to so much use. The best part is, it doesn't annoy me to hear it so often!!
Yo Gabba Gabba is on Nick. It annoys me so I don't let my kids watch it but they do have lots of puppety characters.
Bear in the big blue house has some singing, Veggie tails has singing, especially their silly sing along videos, try the wiggles(all singing), hope this helps
have you tried Yo Gabba Gabba? it's kind of cute. large puppet-like characters and lots of music. sesame street is also a good one for puppets. :)
My son loved Fraggle Rock dvds he also like real animals that talked, Charlotte's web and Racing Stripes were favorites as well.
WonderPets, WordWorld, Imagination Movers, Blues Clues and SuperWhy are my 2 year old's favorites right now. Lots of singing but not too annoying.
What about the Muppets? We got the old Muppet Show dvds from the library and my little one liked them. He liked the muppet movies (old and new) even more and they are fun for me to watch too.
Do you have noggin or Nick Jr.? Backyardagains are cute. Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer are also cute with lots of singing. I agree with the last post, I do not like Yo Gabba Gabba. He wasn't allowed to watch it. WonderPets was awesome. PBS always had on some decent shows too. Good luck in your search.
