Hello, I am seeking advice from other Mom's that have experience with young Children with Asthma. My son who was born with Asthma has been on Allergy medicine and (an Albuteral inhaler as needed) from birth, He is now 9 years old and doing great in school, very little Asthma attacks! Growth Hormones for Kids

I think i'm pretty ok with the fact that my son is going to be short, but I would like a safe place to just hear about peoples experiences with growth hormones. DS is 10. he has just outgrown his size 7 jeans, and most of his 6/7 Tshirts still fit. both of his grandfathers are on the short side maybe 5 '4. i'm 5"2 and I know they are taller than me. Dh is prob 5' 8. At his last check up the nurse did bring up his height and mentioned ... I think she used the words growth hormones but maybe it was something else like steroids...
