3 YO #2 Regression.. Advice and Help Please!

I am at a loss with my toddler. We had a wonderful potty training expirence when she was 2. She got the hang of it quickly, and still to this day havent had any pee accidents, or any bedwetting. Pooping was a bit more difficult. She did not understand for a long time she could push when she was on the potty. She would freak out until gravity worked it out and then there was not a single tear when she did poop. I know it wasnt a fear or pooing or that nutty idea that kids love their own poo. She never was upset when we flushed it, she...

When Zyrtec Is Not Enough...

My step son has slight asthma which almost never flares. He has allergies everyday. His mother does not keep him on a regular schedule of antihistimines as I did my daughter and so now I need a new way to tackle this problem. When he comes home to us, we give him Zyrtec or Claritin or something, but many times he is in full allergy flare by the time we get it to him. How can I help him? Should I drug him up the minute he hits our door or should I wait for allergy symptoms? Once he has taken a 24 hour antihisitmine, is there anything...

ZYRTEC - Is It Safe?

Our pediatrician has suggested Zyrtec for my son's allergies. Anyone heard anything about this medication, or used it themselves? I have heard it works better than other allergy medications, but I have also heard it has detrimental side effects. I hate giving my son medication and like to avoid it as much as possible. Any stories, suggestions, advice, is greatly appreciated. Thanks moms!

Upper Respiratory Infection

I have a 7 month old daughter and a 3 year old daughter that are both sick. I'm more concerned about my baby because she can't take medicine like my 3 year old can. She is so stuffed up, can hardly breathe, stopped wanting to eat baby food, only will be nursed but not as often as usual, lost a little weight, only wants to be held by mom, not wanting to play, has a very bad cough, just lost her voice today, and doesn't want to sleep but when she does not for long. I keep cleaning her nose by using drops and then use a sucker to clean it out...
