My 3 Year Old Doesn't Sleep

Please help, I'm so frustrated, I just want to cry. My 3 year old doesn't seem to sleep more than 8-9 hours in a 24 hour period. Aren't kids this age supposed to get 11-12 hours of sleep in a day? She's been out of her crib for two months, and she started preschool earlier this week. Our bedtime routine is a nightmare (for me), and it has been for a while, not just recently. I start with the end of her TV show at 8:15, then it's brushing her teeth, which usually takes 15 minutes to half an hour because she doesn't want to cooperate,...

3 Year Old Behavior...

Hello there...I am looking for new tricks to have up my sleeve when dealing with my 3 year old daughter. As of late she has taken to shrieeking when put on a time out. I also have not been able to get her to say "I'm sorry for _____" once she's out of her time out. She flat out refuses and walks away or says she "can't". She also has taken to talking or raising her voice over mine to repeat herself when told "no" in getting something. This she picked up from me due to my using it when she started repeating herself so say "noooooo" over her....

Car Seat for 4 Year Old

I'm in search for a 3 in 1 convertible car seat. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old. I need to move my 1 year old out of the carrier and into a regular car seat. My plan was to give my 1 year old the Britax marathon that my 4 year old is in and by him a new seat since I will need a booster seat soon. I've been researching the Britax Frontier and the Graco Nautilus. They both have great reviews but I'm not sure which one to go with. I love my Marthon and I feel that the kids are very safe in them so I'm swaying towards the Frontier. ...
