We are expecting our second child and I am in need of another baby monitor. The one we have picks up too much static and I would like to see if I can find out that has two receivers to listen to both of my children. Any ideas?
I've got the Sony Baby Call and LOVE it! The best thing about it is that you can put the receiver on a setting so it only kicks on if there is noise to activate it. Its got a million channels (ok, maybe that's exaggerating a bit, LOL) but you can really adjust it to get a clear channel.
We got the Graco one for 2 rooms, I think it is called the I-Duo It is great it has 2 bases and 2 receivers. You can program the receivers to monitor both bases for set periods of time. It works really well, we love it.

It has 2 kid units and 2 parent units and what I do is have one parent unit set to one room and one set to the other room. It has multiple channels and long range - I can take it at least 100 ft away from the house and still hear it perfectly with no static. I have never had interference either.
There are 20% off coupons out there for baby products at Toys or Babies R Us. I've used this one for over 18 mos now and it's still great (despite being dropped multiple times... )
The only problem I have ever had is that the kid unit gets unplugged and you don't realize it.
We have the V-tech, DECT 6.0. It's great, comes with two monitors, separate chargers, sensitivity settings and it is small and portable without a hassle. It works and I don't feel uneasy when I'm downstairs, or doing laundry in the basement. Purchased from Walmart...$59.99 and so far worth it!
My kids bedrooms are right next to each other so the one monitor picks up both rooms. Just a thought
We purchased the Sony BabyCall Nursery Monitor and bought two systems to have a transmitter in both rooms. There are 27 channel options (using 3 red, yellow or green toggle switches) and we set each room to a different channel. It was great because I could carry just one receiver all over the house with me and just switch the channel back and forth to hear each room. It's a great monitor -- no interference between the rooms or from the neighbors, phones, etc

I have the Graco I-Digital Vibe (I believe that's what it's called!) Anyways, it comes with 1 main unit for the baby's room, and then 2 receivers, which are wireless & come with chargers. They are amazing!! There is very minimal, if any, interference. They can go quite the distance too! We tried them out & we can get to my neighbor's house---8 houses down the street & still have 100% clear reception. They aren't costly either--I know Target sells them-around $60 for a single receiver and about $85 for 2 receivers.
