My dentist isn't a pediatric dentist but he and his staff are great with kids. Dr. Hutchens @ Village Green Dental in Aurora (corner of Eola & New York) ###-###-####.
Small Smiles is the best in Naperville. Although it will take a little bit to get an appointment. Well worth it.
I also use Dr. David Jones at Small Smiles Dental in Naperville for my two boys. He is wonderful. My son had cavities and got them filled without ever knowing he had had a shot or the cavities. (Too many fruit snacks as a toddler! I won't make that mistake again!!) They use "kid terms" rather than scary words like "shots" and make it so much fun for the kids. My 3 1/2 year old just had his second checkup. The first time he cried leaving me and came back smiling and excited. This time he went back excited and came back telling me how to floss his teeth. You won't be disappointed with them!
We have a great practice in Naperville at Rickert and Book Roads. It is called Small Smiles and the Dentist is Dr. David Jones. He is great with the kids. There is a playroom, no doors on the exam rooms, movies and things for the kids while they get their teeth done. The nurses and that are awesome with the kids. You can't go back with them (they are treated like big kids). at the end of the exam, they invite you back to show you everything they did. They do tell you, mom, before the kids go back what to expect for them so you know, you just can't go watch. Ii was leary, but my daugher loves, absolutely loves, Dr. Dave and can't wait to go.
