Sunscreen for Very Sensitive Skin

My three year old son has very fair and sensitive skin. He has eczema outbreaks from time to time, but for the most part we are able to keep it under control. In the last few weeks since the weather has gotten very warm here, I put sunscreen on him when we go out to play. But, I have not been able to find one yet that does not irritate his skin. The last couple I've tried have really made his skin break out terribly. Are there any sunscreens for very sensitive skin you would recommend? I am hoping someone will know of one we have not tried yet! Thanks.

What can I do next?

It's not because I sell Mary Kay, it's because I have many customers that have fair sensative skin that LOVE this product.

I try to use "natural" or "chemical free" sunscreens made of zinc or titanium oxide (like the zinc oxide in diaper creams). These are barrier sunscreens instead of the kind that seep into your skin. I like Burt's Bees, Blue Lizard, and Neutrogena Pure and Natural (or something like that). We don't have sensitive skin, but I do it for the chemical absorbsion reasons.

I have incredibly sensitive skin. Everything irritates it. I've had very good luck with Badger sunscreen. My son and I both use the "baby" kind. I've used the other sunscreen they have and they work great, too.

California Baby is awesome, as is Blue Lizard Face. Both are chemical-free and paraben free.

My cousin had the same problem with her son years ago. The only thing she could use that didn't cause his skin to welt was No Ad.

I have sensitive skin with eczema as well and I have pretty good luck with Mary Kay sunscreen.

Hope that's helpful!

I've always liked the Aveeno or Neutrogena spray sunscreens.

I agree with the poster that said look for one with a physical barrier like zinc oxide. We've had good luck with Solbar.
