Question About My 14 Month Old Son

I have a 14 month old son who usually is well behavied. Just in the last 2 to 3 weeks is has started throwing a tantrum everytime he is getting his clothes changed or diaper changed. I dont know why this is all the sudden a problem for him. We lay him on the changing table and he starts kicking and crying like we are doing something horrible to him. We have tried to do time out and saying no and explaining to him that we are putting him down to change his diaper, nothing has worked so far? Is this a phase? Has anyone else gone through...

Cloth Diapers & Diaper Rash

Ok, so my husband & I decided to use cloth diapers w/ the lil guy (at least when he's at home). It's going well, but we're having diaper rash issues. The lil guy has a slight rash on his bum, probably due to the late night diaper changes; he wakes up every 3hrs so that's when he gets changed. In any case, we use butt paste at each diaper change, but I guess it's not doing the trick..or maybe we're not putting it on thick enough. In any case, does anyone have suggestions for how to eliminate/minimize diaper rash when using cloth diapers?

Walmart Brand Pediasure and A&D Ointment?! Has Anyone Used Them!?

My sons pedi recommended we give him Pediasure while moving (20 hour road trip from San Diego to Washington) because he won't drink cold milk. My only concern is how expensive pediasure is!! Has anyone used the walmart brands parents choice version? Same with a&d ointment, walamart equate brand is so much cheaper! Anyone who has used these or know someone who does, can you let me know if it's the same thingnor should I bite the bullet and pay for name brand? Thank you!!
