Plantar Fascitis Help!

I really need help with anyone who's ever had plantar fascitis. I've been battling this for almost a year now and some times feel crippled with the pain. I've tried the rolling the foot a ball, anti-inflamatories, biofreeze, Dr. Scholl orthotics. I'm now ready for the heavy hitters. I've heard people say they've used prescription orthotics, boots for bed, accupuncture. What worked for you and did you have to resort to the expensive stuff or not? 2Nd Grade BOY Worried About What "Brand"

As we walked into Dairy Queen tonight my son asked, "What brand are your shoes?" I replied "Reebok, why?" He replied, "O mine are Nike." Next we get home and he picks sweat pants to sleep in. Normally he would just put them on and be done with it, but he starts looking for the tag. I with a puzzled look on my face ask, "What are you looking for?" He replied, "just checking the brand".
